New Zealand researchers making bandages with honey and seaweed extracts to treat wounds.

Researchers at the University of Waikato The dressings can be used to treat ulcers feet and legs, burns and inflammation in the affected parts of the body.

Experts forecast that the value of purchases of the new product after placing on the market to about 12 billion U.S. dollars by the year 2012.

The President of the University of Waikato, Peter Mullan made a prototype of the dressings nearly six years ago.
