Feeding against osteoporosis

Calcium and vitamin D are offered first choice for nutritional prevention of osteoporosis. But in recent years research has clarified the importance of several other nutrients and food components. Here is a study that summarizes the relevant findings regarding the role of diet in bone density.
Firstly, the results of supplementation with calcium and vitamin D have been disappointing, suggesting that the only recourse for these nutrients is inadequate.

So in addition to dairy products, consumption of fruit and vegetables is important for bone health. Several nutrients, including magnesium, potassium, vitamins C, K, B, and carotenoids showed a much larger role than we previously thought.

Meat and fish also have a role to play! Rather than having a negative effect on bone, protein intake appears beneficial for bone status, particularly among the elderly.

Finally, significant factor, sodas type 'Colas have a very negative effect on bone density. Anime cola (even lights), it will have to reduce your dose! And against all odds, taking alcohol in moderation shows a positive effect on bone, particularly among older women.

This study shows that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables with an adequate dairy and other protein foods, limiting foods nutritionally sparse, can have a good status to the bone.

It is this study, you can not find? It satisfies everyone eventually!
